Your Mission

Our Process Engineers are dedicated to driving manufacturing excellence through innovative process improvements and equipment optimisation. We leverage engineering expertise to enhance product quality, efficiency, and sustainability, actively participating in APQP teams and implementing cutting edge solutions to minimise waste and maximise operational efficiency. Our mission is to continuously improve plant processes, layouts, and equipment to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety while exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in APQP Team as Process Engineering representative.
  • Carry out / support trials onsite / offsite – document process parameters, capture pfu’s, completion of process & equipment acceptance reports
  • Develop new production methods using engineering fundamentals.
  • Develop and implement new production equipment to improve quality of product, improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
  • Formulate, update and enter Bill of Materials software system.
  • Determine best method to salvage non conforming material.
  • Review process for material savings, scrap reduction, material handling reduction, and operator efficiency improvements, making recommendations, and implementing upon approval.
  • Develop plant layout to improve process flow and maximise material handling.
  • Conduct capacity studies.
  • Develop internal quotations for new products as needed.
  • Develop the PFMEA, DFM/A and other engineering disciplines if specified by the customer.
  • Carry out Ergonomic assessments
  • Update lessons learned database
  • Promote and sustain a good 5S & H&S environment
  • Analyse plant processes, design and implement improvements.
  • Troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes.
  • Plan preventative maintenance.
  • Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards are upheld.

What you’ll bring

  • BS in Engineering or High School diploma
  • Industrial Process related experience.
  • Automotive plant experience desired but not required.
  • Experience in layout and process flow required.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
