The company specialises in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration equipment across the North-East and North Yorkshire, delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Refrigeration Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and install commercial refrigeration equipment
- Work on plug‑in refrigeration storage cabinets
- Back bar bottle coolers
- Automatic ice machines
- Walk‑in chiller and freezer cold rooms
- Display cabinets with remote condensing units
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
- Complete installations and commissioning work to industry standards
- Undertake occasional overnight stays where required
- Accurately complete service reports and job documentation
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
Refrigeration Engineer Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer or in a similar role
- Experience with commercial refrigeration systems and equipment
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence essentialRelevant refrigeration qualifications or certifications would be advantageous
