The ChiefEngineer role:
This is a backshift role, working late afternoon into theevening on a Monday to Friday, on a weekly basis.
- Reporting to theProject Manager you will be a strong leader who can manage a teamof engineers, works staff and subcontractors to deliver the projectto the highest possible standard of safety and performance. You’llensure the works are technically compliant with the contractdocuments and construction issue, specifications anddrawings.
- You’ll monitor the programme andasses potential areas of risk and opportunity on a daily basiscovering the design, procurement and constructionactivities
- Temporary Works proposalsdevelopment and implementation
- Develop andmaintain excellent relationships with the client team
Yourprofile:
- StrongLeadership skills
- Collaborative nature withgood team working skills
- Experience deliveringmulti-million pound nuclear projects or projects in similarlyregulated environments.
- Reinforced concreteconstruction experience
- Good knowledge ofbuilding products, construction details and relevant rules,regulations and quality standards
