About the Role

As a Senior Education Recruitment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving business success by managing the full recruitment lifecycle for teaching and support staff roles. You will build and maintain strong client partnerships, develop new business opportunities, and support candidates throughout their recruitment journey. Your expertise will ensure our schools receive exceptional service and that education professionals are placed into rewarding and fulfilling roles.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with schools and educational institutions.
  • Understand client staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to retain and grow existing accounts.

Candidate Attraction & Engagement

  • Source, attract, and engage high-quality candidates including teachers and teaching assistants.
  • Utilise job boards, social media platforms, networking, and referrals to build talent pipelines.
  • Conduct candidate interviews and provide professional career guidance.

Full Recruitment Lifecycle

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes from initial client brief through to placement.
  • Coordinate interviews, manage offers, and negotiate placements effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure a seamless recruitment experience.

Business Development

  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Expand and develop your client portfolio through networking, calls, and meetings.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Support and mentor junior consultants.
  • Share knowledge, best practices, and contribute to team success.

Compliance & Safeguarding

  • Ensure all candidates meet safeguarding, compliance, and regulatory requirements prior to placement.

Qualifications

  • Proven recruitment experience, ideally within education recruitment or a similar fast-paced sector.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Passionate about education and making a positive impact within the sector.
  • Self‑motivated, resilient, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a similar recruitment role.
  • Knowledge of the education sector.

Pay range and compensation package

  • Competitive basic salary.
  • Uncapped commission structure with earning potential of up to 22%.
