About the Role
We are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced Gas Heating Engineers to join our Mechanical and Electrical team within Nottingham City Council Housing Services. We want someone proud of what they do and how they do it.
About You
- Proven experience in all aspects of heating.
- Ability to undertake the accurate completion of any required installations, servicing, testing, works and compliance certification, including the ability to cap/disk supply, remove gas fires, carry out system tests and re‑commission boilers after void periods. You will also be required to ensure that legionella standards are adhered to.
- Proven experience in dealing with the provision of central heating including boilers, controls, gas fires, radiators and tanks.
- Good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels with the ability to develop and present written or verbal information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to collaborate with external stakeholders, such as contractors and suppliers, to achieve a common goal.
- Ability to remain self‑motivated whilst effectively managing a diverse workload under pressure to meet specified targets and deadlines.
You must have a full UK driving licence.
