Senior Contracts Manager required for a client in Poole. This is a key leadership role supporting the delivery of property services across social housing contracts, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You’ll work closely with operational teams and stakeholders, playing an important role in driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple programmes.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the delivery of multiple social housing maintenance, compliance, and refurbishment contracts.
- Overseeing operational performance to ensure KPIs, service standards, and contractual requirements are met.
- Leading and supporting Contract Managers, Supervisors, and operational teams.
- Monitoring contract performance and driving improvements in productivity and service delivery.
- Supporting budget management, cost control, and commercial performance across contracts.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, legislation, and industry standards.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including housing associations and local authorities.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across processes and service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Senior Contracts Manager or similar role within social housing or property services.
- Strong background in managing maintenance, compliance, or refurbishment programmes.
- Experience leading and developing operational teams in a multi-site environment.
- Good understanding of KPIs, contract performance, and service delivery standards.
- Strong commercial awareness, including budget and cost management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant construction or property services qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Full UK driving licence (SMSTS/IOSH desirable).
