Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 + £5k Car Allowance + progression to Site Manager

Are you a Production Manager with a background in maintenance engineering and experience working in the heavy engineering sector?

Do you want to progress into a Site Manager role?

An excellent opportunity is available to step into a Site Manager position and autonomously run the flagship site of an established and growing company based out of Southampton Docks.

The company has a turnover of circa £1bn per annum and operates in one of the UK’s fastest growing & sustainable sectors. They are undergoing significant growth with new sites opened this year and significant investment at existing facilities. Due to this growth & expansion, we are seeking a Site Manager to lead one of our key sites in the South.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an experienced team covering production, maintenance, export, and procurement.
  • Have full autonomy in day‑to‑day work.
  • Report key metrics to the Group Operations Manager to support decision making at the group level.
  • Receive full industry, systems, and export training.

Position Details:

  • Head of Production / Site Manager
  • Step up to Site Manager with full autonomy
  • Lead an experienced and multidisciplined team
  • Full industry training available

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Production Manager / Head of Production / Site Manager.
  • Experience in the heavy engineering or similar industry.
  • Competent understanding of maintenance engineering.
  • Excellent leadership abilities.
  • Seeking a role offering full autonomy and further development.
