Are you an experienced Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager looking to take ownership of a site–based finance function within a well–established and growing business? This is an excellent opportunity to join a market–leading manufacturer operating from a modern, well–invested facility in Telford. In this role, you will lead the finance function on–site, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and delivering meaningful insight to support operational and strategic decision–making. You'll work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in driving business performance. This position would suit a commercially aware finance professional looking for a hands–on role with real influence, whether you already have manufacturing experience or are keen to apply your skills in a production–led environment.
Responsibilities
- Full ownership of the site finance function, leading and developing a team
- Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance analysis
- Business partnering with operations to drive cost control and performance improvement
- Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance with company policies
- Supporting strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance position
- Manufacturing, FMCG, or operational environment experience desirable but not essential
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business
