Duty Engineer (HOT0CIZM)
Location: Hilton Birmingham Metro National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham B40 1PP.
Job Description
As a Maintenance Duty Engineer, you are responsible for carrying out maintenance work promptly and to the highest standards to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will perform the following tasks:
- Implement company statutory and legal requirements including fire, health and safety, hygiene, electricity at work, and local by‑laws.
- Respond to all enquiries promptly.
- Carry out maintenance repair work and ensure appropriate PPE is worn during all repairs.
- Follow planned preventative maintenance programmes.
- Maintain good relationships with internal and external customers and contractors.
- Implement energy conservation initiatives.
- Follow COSHH regulations, particularly hazardous substance storage.
- Attend additional training suitable to the role.

It would be advantageous to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

This is a casual position. Hours are rota'd in line with business demands, with flexibility required for evening and weekend working.
