About the Role

You will support and manage key aspects of planning, coordination, and execution for the future Construction Delivery Model (CDM). You’ll play a vital role in defining the operating model, supporting transition planning and helping deliver it effectively. You will help define and implement the operating model, including governance, structures, delivery capabilities, and ways of working. You’ll translate strategic intent into a clear, actionable delivery plan, operating confidently in a complex, highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and refine integrated delivery operating model blueprints, key principles, and success factors, ensuring full stakeholder buy‑in.
  • Help define issues and constraints affecting the operating model.
  • Support development of the full operating model (people, organisation, processes, information, and technology).
  • Provide governance insight and help guide decision‑making throughout programme delivery.
  • Lead and support transition planning to the new operating model.
  • Contribute to readiness planning and business change activities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to drive alignment and clarity.
  • Gather insights, analyse information, and produce clear outputs to support decision‑making.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Hands‑on consultancy or advisory experience in complex, multi‑stakeholder, regulated environments.
  • Experience working within defence, nuclear, or similarly highly regulated sectors.
  • Proven experience in delivery integration and transformation programmes.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including knowledge of traditional and innovative delivery models.
  • Experience assessing current capability and designing future operating models.
  • Proven ability to develop and initiate target operating model transformations.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio management, portfolio definition, and P3M delivery.

Location

The role is Hybrid (Glasgow Office/Home).
