Metalis Recruitment: An opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join a prestigious manufacturing company based in Nottingham.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Working on a fast paced production line
• Manufacturing of materials and components used in many sectors
• Participating and contributing to Continuous Improvement activities
• Interpreting manufacturing paperwork (Engineering drawings)
• Ensuring products are stored correctly to avoid contamination and damage.
• Maintaining a good standard of cleanliness in work area. Reporting all shortages, scrap, and downtime as necessary

The company are looking for a Production Operative who has the following skills and experiences:

• Ideally have industrial manufacturing industry experience (print background would be great)
• Awareness of safety, health, environmental and quality issues.
• Team player
• Ability to work well in fast paced environments

Ability to work days and night shifts. Please note: the manufacturing area does include some chemical products and we would not recommend people with allergies and medical conditions such as asthma.

Shifts & Salary:

• 13.00ph – Overtime available
• Rotating Days & Nights
• 12 Week Temporary – Permanent role
