We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, creative, positive and motivated Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse to join our Nursing Bank at East Surrey Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent communication and engagement with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Deliver patient‑centred care to patients with learning disability and/or mental health needs, including dementia, across medical, surgical and emergency departments.
  • Support the Trust’s Enhanced Care Policy by ensuring that mental health and learning‑disability patients are correctly assessed and reviewed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a mental health or learning disability nursing role.
  • Strong communication and engagement skills.
  • Commitment to improving care delivery for patients with learning disability and/or mental health needs.
