Retail Manager – Luxury Brand
We are proud to be partnering with a renowned, high-end sustainable luxury brand based near Cirencester (Gloucestershire) to recruit a permanent Retail Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious business with a strong reputation for quality, authenticity, and excellence.
The successful candidate will manage two retail shops and oversee pop-up events, leading a team of approximately 16 staff across full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles. This role is ideal for a dynamic and hands-on leader who thrives in a luxury retail environment.
Duties
– Manage the day-to-day operations of two retail stores
– Oversee and coordinate pop-up retail events
– Drive sales performance and achieve targets
– Lead, motivate, and develop a team of ~16 staff
– Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards
– Manage inventory and stock control
– Implement marketing and promotional activities
– Monitor and manage budgets and sales figures
– Ensure health and safety compliance
– Train and support staff development
– Maintain high standards of in-store presentation and visual merchandising
Requirements
– Proven experience in retail management, ideally within a luxury environment
– Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach
– Ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a team
– Creative flair for visual merchandising and store presentation
– Strong numeracy and IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and retail systems)
– Excellent organisational and communication skills
– Willingness to travel for retail events (with flexible TOIL arrangements)
Hours: 40h per week across x5 days
