ROLE OVERVIEW The successful candidate will assist in the fabrication, assembly, and preparation of roller shutter doors and associated components within a busy manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assisting in the manufacture and assembly of roller shutter doors and components Operating factory machinery and hand tools safely and effectively Cutting, drilling, measuring, and preparing materials to specification Loading and unloading materials and finished products Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Conducting quality checks on completed work Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties Always following health & safety procedures THE PERSON Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or factory environment preferred but not essential Experience with roller shutter doors, steel fabrication, or industrial products would be advantageous Ability to use hand and power tools Good practical and mechanical skills Ability to read basic measurements and technical drawings is desirable Physically fit and capable of manual handling Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Ability to work independently and as part of a team SALARY Our client is offering a competitive salary plus Pension and other benefits.
