Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Senior Robotics Software Engineer to join our team in Oxfordshire in on-site capacity, combining office-based collaboration with flexibility work hours and fully compensated travel. In this role, you will design and develop software for cutting-edge robotics systems, lead the implementation of object-oriented programming solutions, and contribute to the integration of intelligent robotic applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring software reliability and performance, and solving complex programming challenges. You will also mentor junior team members and contribute to strategic technical decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in related role.
  • Preferably over 6 years experience in related role
  • Preferably some team leadership experience but we are looking for people happy in software development role
  • Experience with AI tools. Token allocation provided as part of this role.
  • Proficiency in Programming, Software Development, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Expertise in Computer Science principles and problem-solving
  • Experience in Back-End Web Development and system integration
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
  • Experience working with robotics systems, preferably in field robotics
