Project Manager – MOJ (Nationwide)
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading construction team delivering innovative fit out and refurbishment projects for Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and secure facilities across the UK. If you are a hands-on Project Manager with strong technical expertise, a passion for problem-solving, and a drive to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, we want to hear from you.
About the Role As Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-value MOJ and secure facilities projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and successful completion. You will work closely with clients, on-site teams, and subcontractors, maintaining excellent communication and client satisfaction throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery from inception to completion, including briefs, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage on-site teams, subcontractors, and installation quality on secure facilities projects.
- Monitor project budgets, track variations, and approve progress claims.
- Act as the main client contact, providing clear and regular updates to MOJ stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments, implement RAMS, and ensure strict health and safety compliance.
- Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and snagging lists.
- Mentor and support team members and provide cover for the Project Director as required.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience delivering MOJ, prison, or secure facility fit out and refurbishment projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of fit out and refurbishment processes.
- Skilled in project planning, team management, and client engagement.
- Willingness to travel nationwide to project sites as required.
