A leading electronics manufacturer in Colchester is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their growing team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the company’s Quality Management System, driving compliance to ISO9001, and acting as a technical point of contact for customers. This role suits someone who is confident, collaborative, and comfortable working across engineering, production, and customer teams.
What You’ll Be Doing– Leading quality activities across the manufacturing process for electronic products– Managing, maintaining, and improving the company’s QMS– Ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and supporting audits– Acting as a customer‑facing quality representative, handling queries and driving resolution– Supporting root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives-Working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure product quality and reliability
What You’ll Bring– Strong experience in electronics manufacturing– Proven background in quality engineering at a senior or lead level– Hands‑on experience with ISO9001 and QMS ownership– Confident communicator with the ability to work directly with customers– Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, problem‑solving tools, and quality methodologies
