Manufacturing Engineer – Bournemouth – £45,000–£47,000

Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Bournemouth, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in driving continuous improvement and supporting production efficiency within a modern manufacturing environment.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for optimising production processes, improving product quality, and ensuring cost-effective manufacturing operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support new product introduction and ongoing process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role
• Strong understanding of production processes and lean principles
• Experience within a manufacturing environment (e.g. mechanical, electrical, or precision engineering)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Package

• Salary: £45,000–£47,000
• 37-hour working week (4.5 days)
• 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
