The Role:
We are seeking a high‑calibre Senior Finance Analyst to join our Group Finance team in a corporate planning and commercial execution role, supporting the Director, Finance Strategy. This is a broad and commercially focused opportunity, involved in a variety of commercial, corporate finance and M&A activities, with regular exposure to senior leadership including the Group Executive team.
This role is ideal for a recently qualified accountant who is intellectually curious, commercially minded, and comfortable working both deep in the detail to provide actionable analysis and at the strategic level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting preparations for potential strategic transactions
- Conducting detailed P&L and KPI analysis to identify opportunities drive EBITDA maximisation
- Supporting the monitoring of key strategic initiatives and projects; tracking project costs, benefits, and return on investment
- Working closely with senior leaders across Finance, Strategy, and operational teams, preparing materials and analysis to support Executive & Board‑level discussions
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy, governance, and financial control
- Contributing to initiatives focused on driving sustainable organic and inorganic growth
About You:
We are looking for an ambitious finance professional who is comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, strategic environment and who enjoys working on complex commercial challenges.
- Recently qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) looking for first move out of practice
- Experience in corporate finance, transaction support, or M&A environments is desirable but not essential
- Strong academic background
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
- High levels of attention to detail and professional integrity
