Job Description:

The CRM and Data Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering the CRM strategy, while overseeing the related capabilities, tools and data for OUP’s UK and International Education business. The role ensures that the sales and marketing teams are equipped with the right tools and data to maximise sales opportunities, build excellent customer relationships, and grow customer lifetime value.

Duties of the role will include:

  • Develop and implement the divisional CRM roadmap strategy in line with business strategy, delivering ongoing CRM improvements to enable sales and marketing teams to support them to achieve business objectives and targets.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to improve the quality of sales and marketing data in CRM and provide best practice on data usage and maintenance.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of new features, making sure they meet the defined requirements and customer expectations.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.

We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have/be:

  • Proven experience of managing and enhancing CRM platforms, data integrations, and marketing automation systems within a B2B environment.
  • Strong background in working with CRM solutions, marketing automation, and customer journey management tools
  • Experience in lead generation and customer acquisition, engagement and retention
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering successful outcomes
  • Ability to translate customer and business need into effective solutions
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in using business insight tools, such as PowerBI, to interpret, interrogate, and share data
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work successfully in a team and drive teamwork
  • Sound understanding of GDPR requirements and best practice to manage personal data compliantly
