We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Transport Quality & Training Manager to lead on training, compliance, and quality assurance for BSPS Transport services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate training programmes for BSPS Transport staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and NHS standards.
  • Coordinate and maintain the Quality Management System.
  • Support accreditation processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to enhance service delivery.
  • Act as the transport lead for Health & Safety and COSHH, promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Serve as the Quality Lead for BSPS Transport, driving continuous improvement and ensuring services meet required standards of quality, safety and performance.
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and continuously develop the QMS in collaboration with Site Leads and Operations Manager.
  • Monitor and evaluate service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance service delivery.
  • Embed best practice, improve processes and promote high standards of care and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Valid UK full driving licence without points.
  • Educated to degree level.

Experience

  • In-depth professional expertise derived from theoretical as well as practical experience.
  • Experience of delivering training courses.

Skills

  • Collaborative approach to work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent teamwork capability.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Prioritise tasks across multi‑site environments and influence colleagues remotely.
  • Manage a diverse workload.

  • Sound working knowledge of pathology transport operations.
  • Proven ability to formulate clear SOPs and policies.
  • Sound IT proficiency.
  • Proven ability to compile written reports.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety / COSHH.
