You will be able to find a full Job description and Person Specification attached within the supporting documents or please click “Apply now” to view in Trac The post holder will have the key responsibility for providing vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the VCC / WBS divisions financial strategy, leading to the delivery of annual financial plans and their translation into agreed budgets across the two service delivery divisions inclusive of required CIP targets.
Responsible for the overall financial policy and strategy for the WBS and VCC Divisions, with the authority to act within minimum guidelines and set financial goals and standards for the division e.g. financial controls, governance and financial accountancy standards, in accordance with the legal requirements.
Working closely with the deputy director of finance and other colleagues the post holder will also play a significant role in all commissioning and contracting discussions with other NHS and external organisations.
The post holder will deputise for the Deputy Director of Finance across both internal and external meetings / duties as required.
