To that end the school strongly encourages all young people to stay on at school until the end of S6. The role of the Development Officer will include but is not limited to: Lead targeted intervention groups for BGE pupils Data analysis of targeted intervention group work Data analysis of whole school attendance Participation in Learning Community attendance working group The School Improvement Plan reflects local, City of Edinburgh Council and national priorities. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
