Role
Electrical Project Manager – London
Salary £70,000 – £80,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Full Travel Expenses + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus
Responsibilities
- Tender review/validation
- Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants)
- Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant
- Technical submittals
- RFIs – Liaison with client team, main contractor and subcontractors
- Value Engineering where applicable
- Programming of works – using MS Project or Asta project
- Health & Safety management (RAMs)
- Commercial Responsibility, assisting with subcontractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey
- Management of variations
- Team Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers and supervisors)
- Progress meetings with subcontractors, client and internal meetings
- Overseeing commissioning stages
- Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover
Ideal Candidate
- Experience delivering major shell and core projects
- Experience managing projects to a minimum of £5m M&E value
- A minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role
- Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as Multiplex, Mace, Lend Lease and Kier
- The candidate will show longevity in previous employment
- Must be technically astute and a good people manager
