DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our Software Engineering team. We are preferably looking for someone with a background in Software Engineering and with experience on linux platforms.

Tasks and Qualifications

• Assist in the design and development of components within real-time software applications by building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in peer review such as code design, test reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
• Analyse user requirements and design software solutions to meet these requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate software components into larger systems.
• Maintain and improve existing software applications, including troubleshooting and bug fixes.

Qualifications

• B.S. Computer Science or related field
• Background or experience in Software Engineering or Automation (C on Linux)
• Scripting languages such as Python, shell scripts
• Experience of source control tools such as git
• Experience of real-time environments
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Gitlab Runners etc)
• Experience with automation/IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform
• Experience with containerisation technology such as Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server
