Role Overview

The Presales Enterprise Architect is a senior presales position providing direct support to regional sales and partner organizations. You’ll help develop opportunity pipelines and execute deal cycle strategies within complex and strategic sales opportunities, with a special focus on practical Content & Experience application, architecture, and governance.

You are regarded as a trusted advisor by customers, colleagues, and the broader ecosystem. You’ll engage customers, manage rooms, partner with Adobe sales, drive product enhancements with Adobe product & engineering teams, and participate in marketing events and partner enablement.

What You’ll Do

  • Architecture Design: Validate the current state and goals of the customer, translating them into an appropriate target state vision with a supporting IT roadmap and design for architecturally significant requirements (processes, applications, systems) based on Adobe’s solutions.
  • Architecture Oversight: Advise on operationalizing mutual business strategy from the technical case during the sales cycle, ensuring smooth transition into post-sales and value realization stages for projects.
  • Architecture Review: Provide ongoing reviews to clarify new requirements and jointly create a path to solution, impact plan, and stable client-vendor relationships for future business.
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical expert and resource to guide and support Solution Consultants in developing technical cases.
  • Opportunity Strategy: Partner with Account Executives on the most complex Content & Experience opportunities to shape technical vision, deal strategy, and an impact roadmap aligned to the customer’s long‑term ambition.
  • AI Strategy & Planning: Weave AI through the architecture and advise customers on adoption, governance, and the practical realities of running AI inside experience operations.
  • Business Case Development: Support Account Executives in developing business cases, ensuring alignment between business and technical objectives.
  • Technical Case: Own and define customer architecture & technical milestones (current, future, and transition states). Partner with Solution Consultants to develop clear technical narratives and support delivery teams on technical scope, implementation timelines, and proposals.
  • Account Management: Build trusted advisor relationships with customer CIO/CTO/CDO organizations, focusing on adoption and governance.
  • Client Management: Act as a senior trusted advisor to customers, covering the entire journey of end customer experience and internal employee experience, with a focus on digital transformation.
  • Thought Leadership: Add value “beyond the sale” through long‑term strategy development, providing industry insights, and connecting client needs to Adobe’s broader solution portfolio.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Proven experience providing enterprise architecture leadership across large‑scale transformation programmes, from early visioning and pre‑sales through delivery, adoption, and platform evolution, ideally with content and experience specialization.
  • Broad knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud solutions and deep expertise in content and experience architecture, including customer content supply chain, unified customer experience, AI readiness.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns and how Adobe’s capabilities fit into best‑in‑class enterprise solutions.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills to align sales resources behind technical vision and help scale EA knowledge and practice across the region.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills at CxO level, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with practitioner architects.
  • Adept at building technical roadmaps, defining multi‑phase milestones, and ensuring complex enterprise technologies work together at scale.
  • Experience with AI governance frameworks, ethical AI practices, and regulatory compliance in enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s/MBA preferred.
  • 2+ years of presales or consulting experience in the Adobe ecosystem.
  • 5+ years of technical solution experience in Adobe Experience Cloud or similar platforms.
  • 10+ years overall professional experience in technical roles.
  • A recognised enterprise architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF) is highly desirable.
  • Design Thinking experience in customer‑facing engagements.
  • Experience in sales and sales processes. Excellent presentation and communication skills in English.
