Senior Project Manager – Energy Trading – up to £125k base + +30 % bonus – London

Cititec has partnered with an energy trading firm that’s expanding its technology team and is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of new product onboarding across physical and financial markets.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end New Product Onboarding across physical and financial markets, acting as the bridge between Front to Back Office teams. This is a hands‑on, front‑office‑facing role where you’ll drive momentum, manage senior stakeholders, and ensure the platform is delivered safely, compliantly, and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Lead delivery of New Product Onboarding
• Build and manage integrated delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies
• Coordinate FO, Tech, Risk, Ops, Compliance, and Regulatory stakeholders
• Identify risks early and proactively drive solutions
• Maintain alignment, governance, and delivery pace in a high‑pressure environment
• Ensure systems, controls, reporting, and operational processes are fully ready for go‑live

Experience Required

• Experience in energy trading is essential
• Ideally, you’ll have experience with new product onboarding
• Exposure to both physical and financial trading
• Understanding of FO trading workflows, risk & PnL drivers, and operational/regulatory controls
• Experience partnering with ETRM and trading technology teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
