Job Description


We are seeking a Structural Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to build on their existing experience and develop their skills in a professional yet social environment. You will be responsible for collaborating on a diverse range of exciting projects, ranging from Grade I* listed refurbishments to modern new builds, in our large London-based open-plan studio. You will have the opportunity to manage junior engineers as well as projects. Flexible working conditions are available, and the salary is competitive.



Responsibilities



  • Collaborate passionately on a diverse range of exciting projects, ranging from Grade I* listed refurbishments to modern new builds

  • Produce design solutions of the highest quality and communicate these ideas clearly to clients, architects, and contractors

  • Confidently communicate and collaborate with colleagues, clients, and architects

  • Work to a deadline and manage workflow effectively

  • Take on greater responsibilities within a smaller team

  • Contribute to identifying new business opportunities

  • Be a project champion and strive to exceed expectations and become a clear communicator of technical output with clients and design teams



Qualifications and Experience



  • Minimum 3 years of relevant Structural Engineering experience

  • Highly proficient in using AutoCAD

  • Capable understanding of Engineering Theory, Basic Conceptual Design, and Working in 3D

  • Practical understanding of design codes: Eurocode

  • Excellent attention to detail, with good sketching ability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong desire to learn more about Structural Engineering

  • Ability to take on responsibility and work independently as well as within a team
