Senior Credit Analyst (Wholesale)

My client, a reputable challenger bank, is looking for a Senior Analyst to join their Wholesale Credit Risk team. This hands‑on role will cover analysis for balance sheet management activities and securities investments, in order to support investment decisions and counterparty/investment limits.

Responsibilities

• Risk analysis of whole credit risk exposure ahead of new investments
• Due diligence and analysis of new product proposals
• Monitoring exposures and current limits
• Stress testing of the portfolio
• Development of wholesale credit risk policy, risk appetite and limits
• Assist financial risk team members on other areas where required
• Attend credit committee meetings and present to senior management

Requirements

• Experience analysing whole credit exposures (RMBS, ABS, Covered Bonds)
• Experience within risk function (1/2LOD), treasury function, or rating agency
• Advanced Excel and Bloomberg skills
• Model development within knowledge of Python and SQL
