A specialist independent 3 Partner accountancy practice is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team in Central London offices.

They provide high-quality audit, accounting, and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio, including property investors, developers, and management companies.
The size of the firm allows for a varied workload, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to work closely with partners, gaining broad experience across all aspects of the profession.
The Role
The firm are seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join the team. This is a client-facing role with significant exposure to all aspects of audit and accounts, offering direct interaction with clients and partners. The role is split 50% audit and 50% accounts and will involve planning, executing, and finalising audit assignments, as well as preparing financial statements and other related tasks. This is a fully office-based role, requiring attendance 5 days per week in our central London office.
Key Responsibilities
Audit (50%)- Lead and manage audits from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and design appropriate audit strategies.
- Prepare audit reports and discuss key findings with clients and partners.
- Maintain client relationships and provide proactive business advice.
- Prepare statutory financial statements under UK GAAP and FRS 102.
- Review financial statements, working papers, and disclosures for accuracy.
- Assist clients with general accounting queries and provide technical advice.
- Liaise with HMRC and other regulatory bodies when required.
- Prepare corporation tax computations and returns for each client
Candidate Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified
- Strong audit experience within an accountancy practice.
- Proficiency in preparing financial statements and knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
- Experience working with property clients is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using CCH software is advantageous
- Able to commute to and work in London on a full time basis
