Our client is a well-established asbestos company offering a full range of asbestos and environmental services to a mixed portfolio of clients nationwide. Due to continued success, they are looking for an ambitious, creative Asbestos/Water Treatment Bid Manager to join their busy team/office in and around the Wolverhampton area. The successful candidate will come either a strong asbestos or water treatment /legionella background and will have experience working in a similar position as a bid manager; over-seeing a team of bid writers, working on PQQ’s, ITT’s and Tender returns. The ideal applicant will also have a proven track record winning asbestos consultancy bids and will possess professional presentation skills.

Applications will be considered from – Bimringham, Worcester, Coventry, Leicester, Telford, Stoke on Trent, Burton on Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Bromsgrove, Redditch and Halesowen.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Previous experience/knowledge of working in a bid writing role within the industry.
  • Knowledge of asbestos/health & safety/water treatment sectors would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Package.

The

  • Maintaining registrations with appropriate authorities to ensure receipt of relevant EOIs, PQQs and Tender notifications.
  • Project managing the bid process.
  • Liaising with companies’ teams to assess new opportunities.
  • Ensuring all information submitted is at a high standard and well presented.
  • Maintaining company records.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the success rates and conversions.
