Overview
We are delighted to partner with a leading global engineering and project‑delivery organisation to recruit an experienced Commercial Manager for a fully remote role offering high autonomy, strategic influence, and strong career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial strategy and oversee commercial performance across multiple projects
- Negotiate high‑value contracts with clients and suppliers
- Manage budgets, forecasting and commercial reporting
- Oversee NEC, JCT, FIDIC, CECA and bespoke contract frameworks
- Drive risk management, change control and dispute resolution
- Guide internal teams with commercial leadership, clarity and best practice
About You
- Strong commercial management background in engineering, construction, water or industrial sectors
- Expertise in major contract forms (NEC3/4, JCT, FIDIC, CECA)
- Excellent management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams
- Exceptional negotiation capability, with strong diplomacy and relationship‑building skills
- Proven experience in contract administration and commercial governance
- QS qualification or similar – highly desirable
- Analytical, proactive, solutions focused and resilient
