Role Summary

We're looking for a Senior Growth Engineer who will lead Conversion Rate Optimisation and own experimentation across our platform. You'll design, build, and analyse A/B tests that drive measurable conversion rate optimisation improvements across our driver and host journeys. This is a hands‑on technical role sitting at the intersection of engineering, data, marketing and product. You won't just follow a roadmap, you will help define it by proving what works.

What You'll Do

  • You operate with urgency and treat conversion rate as your responsibility, not someone else’s.
  • Build and maintain the technical framework that allows us to run A/B tests without impacting site performance.
  • Design and implement experiments across our host and driver journeys.
  • Work across our frontend and backend to ensure tracking is accurate and tests are robust.
  • Use analytics and heatmaps to challenge the status quo and propose high‑impact experiments.
  • Translate business goals into technical requirements, ensuring marketing and product objectives are technically feasible and secure.

Your Background

  • 3+ years in Full‑Stack or Frontend Development. You should be a product‑minded engineer.
  • Deep experience with Front‑End Technologies JavaScript, Vue.js/Nuxt is essential. Familiarity with Laravel/PHP is a major advantage for deep‑funnel experiments.
  • You have a solid grasp of A/B testing statistics (p-values, significance, sample sizing).
  • Experience with experimentation platforms.
  • Comfortable with modern CI/CD (GitHub) and containerization (Docker).

Key Skills

  • You focus on the 20 % of effort that drives 80 % of the impact.
  • You prefer shipping and learning over perfect over‑engineered code.
  • You can communicate concerns during the discovery phase, working with stakeholders to reach solutions that are both secure and commercially effective.

Location

London

Benefits

  • 24 days annual leave, increasing after 3 years (up to 3 additional days).
  • Birthday off.
  • Hybrid working – 3 days per week in London reducing to 1 day per month after probation.
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave.
  • Learning and development opportunities.
  • Gym membership (PureGym or discounted alternatives).
  • Mental health and wellbeing support via Canada Life.
  • Cycle and tech schemes.
  • Health Cash plan through Medicash.
  • Pension scheme via Nest.
  • Discounted insurances and lifestyle savings via Vivup.
