Senior Java Software Engineer Opportunity

A Senior Java Software Engineer opportunity in a growing team who are upgrading and modernising their tech stack. The business is well established across the UK and the team require experienced software engineers who can demonstrate strong Java and Spring backgrounds.

The role offers a hybrid working structure (two days per week in the office on average) and modern offices based in London with long-term project work.

Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in a new product team, able to help implement engineering best practices
• Demonstrate extensive Java, Spring, AWS, and Microservices commercial experience
• Collaborate with offshore teams as needed
• Follow DevOps best practices
• 5-7 years + commercial experience as a Software Engineer in a Java, Spring and AWS tech stack
• Experience with DevOps tools; Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
• SOLID principles, Pair programming or similar
• Previous experience in an upgrade or modernisation programme is desirable

All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and be within a commutable distance to London.
