Finance Business Partner

Looking for a Finance Business Partner to joining a FTSE listed media business for a 9month contract. This role supports a corporate function within the central division, reporting to senior finance leadership. The role focuses on driving accountability, continuous improvement, and informed decision-making through strong commercial insight, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Operating in a dynamic, international environment, the role involves managing financial performance across multiple entities, supporting cost control, and responding to organisational changes such as acquisitions and restructuring.

Day rate of £550 – £600 a day, inside IR35 and hybrid working from the London office.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
• Provide strategic, commercial, and financial insights
• Challenge and influence decision-making
• Own financial performance (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
• Develop and evaluate business cases
• Drive cost management and efficiency improvements
• Support financial reporting, controls, and compliance
• Collaborate across functions and divisions
• Support recruitment and performance management
• Ensure clear communication and effective resource planning

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of finance processes and controls
