Role Overview
The business is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Development
Representative (SDR) to help drive the next phase of growth. This individual will play a key role in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, nurturing strategic prospects, and building a high-quality pipeline for the sales team. The Senior SDR will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure prospects understand the value modern treasury technology can bring to finance and treasury functions.
Senior SDR (Treasury SAAS) – Key Responsibilities
- Execute outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social channels to engage with senior finance and treasury stakeholders
- Qualify inbound leads and ensure a smooth handover to the appropriate Account Executives
- Understand common pain points in treasury and finance operations and tailor messaging to demonstrate solution fit
- Effectively communicate the value of Treasury Management Software to CFOs, Treasurers, and Finance Directors
- Schedule high-quality discovery calls and product demos for the sales team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Partner with Marketing to align on lead generation campaigns, events, and content strategies
- Share market insights and feedback with internal teams to improve messaging and targeting
- Mentor and support junior SDRs where appropriate
Senior SDR (Treasury SAAS) – Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales Development or Business Development role within a SaaS or B2B software environment
- Strong understanding of finance, cash flow, or treasury processes is a distinct advantage
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline and activity targets
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
- Proactive, target-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
