Overview
Working as part of the wider People team, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our workplace culture. You’ll be a highly visible member of the team, offering a great front of house experience for clients and all that work from our London studio, while also ensuring a safe, tidy and creative work space.
Responsibilities
- Creating a welcoming, tidy and inspiring place to be. Working with the studio runners to keep the office well stocked and meeting rooms and shared spaces ready for use
- Greeting all guests and making sure our clients are well looked after
- Planning and organising social events for the London studio, and working with the Office Manager for the Paris studio on ad hoc all Company events both internal and external
- Run studio tours and talks for visiting schools
- Gather and action any feedback to continually enhance our working environment
- Working with the People team to play an active role in onboarding new joiners
- Implement and maintain health and safety policies, conduct risk assessments and act as the main point of contact in this area offering compliant and professional support
- Maintain requirements relating to First Aid and Fire Wardens
- Liaise with the tech team to coordinate workstation set up and any ongoing IT maintenance
- Liaise with external suppliers regarding building maintenance
- Project manage studio refurbs to create a space that meets the changing needs of our team
- Collaborate with the CTO and Director of Business Operations on any ad hoc projects relating to the building and security
- Organise travel for those travelling between studios
- Manage the London office budget and work with the finance team to source ethical and cost effective suppliers
- Input into increasing our social media presence through sharing any relevant social and cultural events and news
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Office Manager
- Previous experience in a creative environment, hospitality or customer service would be an asset
- An interest in and user level understanding of social media
- The drive to make things better, from your own personal development to initiatives that have a positive impact on those you work with
- An infectious energy, with an ability to work proactively to make things happen
- Self awareness in all situations, treating colleagues and clients with kindness and respect
- A confident and personable approach, to be able to work well with others regardless of their seniority and office location

Hours and location
9am to 6pm for this role. We run a shift pattern between this role and the runners to give office cover from 8.30am-6.30pm which will be discussed at the interview with you. We have a great office in Old Street where you would be based and given the nature of the role, you would be required to work from the office 5 days of the week.
