Software Engineer (.Net) SC ClearedPermanentLocation: Fully remote / WFH (UK residency only)Salary: £50,000 (+ on-call £5K + a comprehensive range of Employee Benefits)

We are looking to recruit an SC Cleared Software Engineer to a leading technology consultancy. This is a home based role with limited travel for team meetings.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile systems, delivering enhancement services to Government applications and making a real impact through technology. You’ll be part of a collaborative team of around 30 passionate engineers, all focused on delivering exceptional outcomes – and enjoying the journey together.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and coding enhancements to customer systems across multiple concurrent services
• Sharing progress updates and escalating issues where necessary
• Collaborating with a supportive, inclusive, and socially active engineering team

What we’re looking for:

• Essential Active SC Clearance – or lapsed within the last 12 months
• Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with ITIL IT Service Management processes
• Strong appreciation for development standards and quality procedures
• 2+ years’ professional experience with some of the following technologies:

Technical Skills:

• .Net
• MVC
• ASP.net WebForms
• Hibernate
• Entity Framework

Web Technologies:

• HTML, CSS
• SQL, T-SQL, MySQL
