Within our Capital Delivery department, we are looking for Assistant Project Managers to join the team. Based out of the Raynesway (Derby) office, you’ll support the Project Managers by taking the lead on delivering your own projects, initially focusing on those that are less complex and lower risk. You’ll drive these projects forward whilst undertaking financial management and managing risk. You’ll liaise with project stakeholders and be able to influence at both mid and senior leadership levels. This role offers variety and challenge with scope for learning while being supported to grow and do more.
Responsibilities
- Lead on delivering your own projects, initially focusing on less complex and lower risk assignments.
- Drive projects forward with financial management and risk management responsibilities.
- Liaise with project stakeholders and influence at mid and senior leadership levels.
- Support continuous improvement and drive innovation to anticipate and resolve issues as they arise.
- Work from the Raynesway (Derby) office and collaborate with the Capital Delivery team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience working with projects within a delivery or construction environment is desirable.
- Exposure to the NEC framework is beneficial, but not essential.
- APM or Prince 2 qualifications are advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovate.
- Full UK driving licence is mandatory.
- Character, positivity, and a caring attitude are valued.
