An innovative engineering company seeks a skilled and ambitious Finance Manager to join their UK operation, working remotely. The role will drive strategic decision-making and ensure financial rigour within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Responsibilities
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Proven experience in a finance management or senior accounting role in a UK-headquartered company
- Audit background
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience working cross-functionally and partnering with senior stakeholders
Candidate Requirements
- Skilled in variance analysis, performance tracking, and translating data into actionable insight
- Strong understanding of operational drivers and ability to connect financials to strategic goals
- Proven ability to build, manage, and adjust budgets in a dynamic environment
- Confident communicator, able to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Qualifications
- Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) is desirable but not essential
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent field
- Demonstrable experience in a financial controlling or business partnering role, ideally within motorsport, prototyping, or high-tech manufacturing
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge constructively and build consensus
- Analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative approach
