We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a Major projects team with the delivery of a rail station redevelopment project.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strategic management of project information flows between the delivery team and the client.
• Supporting the public and stakeholder consultation process for the proposed station redevelopment, access packages etc.
• Overseeing the development of cost estimates, budget monitoring, review of contractors’ valuations/invoices and production of spend profiles.
• During the construction period of schemes attend site on a regular basis to review progress, quality, site management and liaise with the contractors to programme future work.
• Ensuring that accurate financial information (including forecasting) is provided in relation to ensuring the services business objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Experience of working as a client-side Project Manager / Programme Manager through delivery stages of projects and be suitably qualified.
• Experience in project managing rail station development or similar schemes through feasibility to construction.
• Experience of providing leadership within a complex partnering environment.
• Experience of developing and implementing risk management strategies.
