The Project Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of development and capital projects from early-stage development through procurement, construction and commissioning, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects from development and permitting through procurement, construction and handover to operations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including internal staff, contractors and consultants, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
- Deliver projects in line with agreed scope, programme, budget and quality requirements, applying industry best practice to ensure safe and efficient execution.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, quality plans and execution strategies.
- Work alongside the commercial team become fully conversant with all contracts that are in place for the delivery of the project and ensure that all contractual requirements (by all parties) are met.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in an Engineering or related discipline (qualifications below this may be acceptable if evidenced by suitable experience) – essential
- Membership of an appropriate professional institution (desirable)
