Software Engineer

Fimador are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team building a modern platform supporting lending and trading activities within a global capital markets environment.

You will work closely with traders, operations specialists and technology colleagues to deliver robust solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce operational risk and enable the business to scale.

Duites:

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance backend services and data pipelines using Python and Java.
• Build and optimise ETL pipelines that process and transform large volumes of trading and market data.
• Develop server-side components and user interfaces for workflows.
• Contribute to the design of a modern platform architecture that supports the full lifecycle of securities financing and delta-one trading.
• Identify opportunities for workflow automation and build tools that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous integration processes to maintain high engineering standards.

About you:

• Open to experience from 3–10 years of software engineering experience using Java and/or Python.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or similar technologies.
• Comfortable working in Linux-based environments and using command line tools.
• Experience working in a finance environment preferably but not essential.
