As a Geotechnical Engineer, you’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of projects, from early concept design through to construction support. Projects span a diverse portfolio including rail, highways, power, aviation, defence, public sector and life sciences, offering genuine variety and technical challenge. Delivering geotechnical design and specification packages for a wide range of projects Working on foundations, retaining structures, earthworks and ground improvement solutions A degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology (or equivalent) Experience gained in an engineering consultancy environment at graduate or engineer level a must, this is not a graduate role, experience is required A strong understanding of soil mechanics and ground engineering principles Exposure to geotechnical design including shallow and piled foundations, retaining walls and earthworks Drivers licence and ability to travel to sites Willing and able to obtain Security Clearance

Experience using geotechnical design software, ideally GEO5 Project experience within sectors such as rail, highways, power, aviation or public sector
