We’re working in partnership with a long-standing client we’ve supported for over 5 years in building out a specialist design function to support their growing data centre portfolio across Europe.
This organisation sits in a strong position within the market established and credible, yet still agile and not one of the largest global players. They are now looking to appoint a Design Engineer (Electrical) to take ownership of electrical design across complex, large-scale data centre projects, working from early development stages through to operational handover.
You’ll act as a key technical authority, ensuring designs are robust, compliant, and aligned with both project requirements and customer expectations. Lead electrical design coordination across data centre projects from concept through to completion Provide technical direction, ensuring alignment with project briefs and Basis of Design Deliver weekly progress reports to senior leadership, highlighting key updates, risks, and achievements Support the integration of multi-disciplinary design elements to ensure seamless project delivery Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (Chartered or working towards)~6–8 years’ experience in data centre design, engineering, or mission-critical infrastructure~ Proven experience delivering feasibility studies, technical reports, and design reviews~ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with international travel (approx.
