We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Children’s Residential Home Manager to become part of our supportive and passionate team here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
In this key role, you’ll support the Registered Manager in leading a team of Residential Care Officers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, family support, and a nurturing environment aligned with our home’s Statement of Purpose.
What We’re Looking For
You will be:
- Experienced in residential childcare
- Holding a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Able to meet all essential criteria outlined in the accompanying person specification
You’ll have the knowledge, confidence, and drive to lead teams, build effective care plans, and promote the ethos and mission of our service. You’ll also work closely with an in-house therapist, helping shape and deliver personalised support packages for each child and young person.
Ideally, you will also hold a:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or be committed to achieving this within 18 months of appointment.
