Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) mission is to lead the Department of Defense (DoD) in finance and accounting by ensuring the delivery of efficient, exceptional quality pay and financial information.
Duties
- Developing, guiding, reviewing and enhancing IT project plans and roadmaps for complex, multi-year technology projects.
- Coordinates and integrates project activities, manages, leads, or administers project resources, and monitors project activities to mitigate risk.
- Designs or conducts analytical studies, cost-benefit analyses, and coordinates with clients/customers to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Establishes test strategy and objectives, provides oversight, and conducts system testing in development and operational environments.
- Manages efforts to troubleshoot issues, and ensures issues are properly communicated to clients/customers and all levels of DFAS management.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
