We’re looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to lead the delivery of Cyber Essentials assessments across our customer base, while also supporting broader security operations as part of a growing capability.
This role is centred around guiding organisations through certification, helping them understand requirements, improve their security posture, and achieve compliance. Alongside this, you’ll have the opportunity to develop hands‑on experience across areas such as Microsoft Defender and security incident triage. Cyber Essentials is the core of the role — the wider security exposure can be developed.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Cyber Essentials assessments end to end
- Work directly with customers to scope, prepare and complete assessments
- Interpret technical controls and translate them into clear, practical guidance
- Support customers through remediation activities to achieve certification
- Act as a trusted advisor on baseline security and compliance requirements
- Conduct audits and reviews aligned to Cyber Essentials standards
- Provide clear documentation and assessment outcomes
- Support security operations activities such as alert triage and investigation
- Assist with Microsoft Defender tooling and security monitoring (training provided)
- Contribute to the development of our wider security capability
