Role Summary

As an Associate Director in the Real Estate Tax team you will advise real‑estate funds, global institutional investors, REITs, private investors and the public sector on tax structuring, compliance and due diligence for UK and pan‑European real‑estate investments across commercial, office, student housing, industrial logistics, retail and hotels.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a high performing team, working with high profile clients and challenging projects.
  • Take responsibility for developing junior team members, understanding their career aspirations.
  • Work with the biggest names in the market on multi‑jurisdictional transactions, helping clients to unlock sustainable growth.
  • Own your work, lead from the front when dealing with clients, delivering work and engaging with the Real Estate and broader Tax teams.

Minimum Criteria

  • ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • UK corporate tax experience, ideally within the Real Estate sector.
  • Experience monitoring junior team members’ work and coaching / career development.

Preferred Skills

  • Tax structuring – advising on tax efficient property transactions.
  • International tax advice and due diligence on cross‑border transactions.
  • Business development initiatives and proposal activity.
  • Tax compliance – advising on ongoing tax requirements.
  • Setting up property funds, including UK Real Estate Investment Trusts.
