About The Role

As the ECPR Data Analyst, you will play a central role in the management, quality, and interpretation of data that underpins our pre‑hospital ECMO service and wider HEMS research portfolio. Working across Barts Health, London’s Air Ambulance Charity, the London Ambulance Service and partner NHS trusts, you will:

Data & Research Responsibilities

  • Collect, compile and validate data from multiple clinical and operational sources.
  • Clean, transform and prepare datasets for analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain secure, compliant data storage systems in line with GDPR and research governance.
  • Identify eligible participants for research studies and support informed consent processes.
  • Manage study data, follow‑up and documentation for HEMS research projects.

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients. We serve the 10 million people that live, work and travel within the M25, treating an average of five patients every day.

This role will involve the day‑to‑day management of research projects and identification of potential participants for studies in the HEMS research portfolio. The analyst will provide information to potential participants about studies, gain informed consent and act as a point of contact for participants and health professionals, while managing study data and follow‑up. They will assist in the development and implementation of the wider HEMS research agenda.
